About the Author:
Mick Sterling

Mick Sterling has been a fixture on the Twin Cities music scene since 1988. He has performed an average of 225 nights a year, mainly based in the Midwest area. He has been the frontman for the influential Soul and R&B band, Mick Sterling and the Stud Brothers. He has released multiple CD's, both live and studio recordings. He is the founder of the groundbreaking charitable event Heart & Soul, a benefit that enhances the lives of children through the power of music.

A native of the Twin Cities, Mick is been happily married for 18 years to his junior high school crush, Kristi. Mick and Kristi have two children, Mikaela, 17 and Tucker, 16. Mick was raised by his father, Robert Jensen and his Mother, Neva. He has 4 sisters. His family lives in the Twin Cities area.

Mick continues to dabble in many different projects. Recording, booking groups, producing events, writing monthly columns and many other projects. The Long Ride Home is Mick's first book.
